Farm Offerings

  • Horsemanship and Farm Camps 2024

Geared towards students with little to no experience around horses. Our intention for camp is to offer a well-rounded introduction to the love of horses and farm life. Your child will learn about horse communication and herd dynamics, how to approach, halter, groom and tack horses. We will offer information about about horse anatomy, horse care and injury prevention. We will talk about different riding disciplines and next steps for riding opportunites. The Waxhaw area has an abundance of amazing horse facilities, coaches and teachers in many disciplines from Hunter jumpers to Ranch riding. The Waxhaw equestrian community is supportive and exciting. We will have fun with at the farm with outdoor activities, trail hikes and a fireside dinner to end the week. Camp is 9-3 (early drop off and late pick is available upon request) $575 per child. *This is not a riding camp it is a camp for horsemanship and farm education.
