New offerings

This time of quarantine has me productive one day and totally unproductive another. That is just the way I am processing and digesting our situation. However you are surviving is amazing, you are doing great. Just a quick confessional here some days all I do is a bit of yoga, in my pjs, nap and sleep in the same pjs… I’m ok with it because this universal download, energy shift whatever is happening is fucking exhausting. Some days though I get it done, like I’m focused and on fire. I like both days. In the days that have had me focused I have been adding modalities to my practice. I am now offering integrative healing sessions, vibrational healing and reflexology.

What is an integrative healing session? I utilize an intuitive healing approach with the methodologies of therapeutic massage, thai massage, vibrational healing, ayurveda, mantra, meditation, pranayama, yoga asana, essential oils, crystals and reiki to develop rituals, routines and modifications you can incorporate into your daily life. These sessions are for those who are ready to embrace their ability for healing on every level.

What is vibrational healing? Each one of us vibrates on our own unique frequency. We all come here with cosmic memory stored in our DNA – a clear memory of peace, love and harmony. This is the nature of our being. This space in our DNA the vibration is where our body aligns with our soul. Vibration {energy} moves in waves – the closeness of the waves is frequency. All elements on earth have a different frequency – your frequency is unique to you.Your feelings thoughts and actions impact your frequency. Daily stress compounded with schedules, to-dos and negative thoughts have weight that can lower your frequency causing an imbalance in your energetic body. The imbalance can manifest in many ways from lower energy to physical or mental illness. A vibrational healing session can align and tune your frequency back toward homeostasis – PEACE, LOVE and HARMONY. I use Tibetan singing bowls on and around your body.

What is reflexology? Reflexology uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet that connect to specific areas and systems of the body through meridians or nadis that run through the fascia. This system carries prana or qi {pronounced “chee”}, or “vital energy” through the physical body. Prana, qi flows through each person. When a person feels fatigue and stress, their prana, qi becomes blocked. These blocks of vital energy can manifest in illness or pain. Reflexology aims to keep prana, qi flowing through the body, keeping it balanced and disease free. Different body parts correspond with different pressure points on the body. Reflexologists use maps of these points in the feet, hands, and ears to determine where they should apply pressure. Gentle pressure promotes the flow of prana, qi, energy through a person’s body until it reaches the area in need of healing.

I am so excited to start taking appointments over at Okra and look forward to helping you thrive.

So much love and healing,

PS beginning in June I am starting a free meditation journey – it will be a little different than the past meditation journeys I have led – we will focus on one meditation for a week letting it settle into our cells and embrace the different techniques.

Here is a pic of my daughter receiving vibrational healing.

We are all going to be OK

How are you holding up? These past few weeks have been weird. Thats just it weird. My emotions are up, down and all around. The days are racing by but strangely time is slow?  I am an empath I feel other people’s emotions as if they’re my own. In the recent state of chaos I have felt deeply the fear, the anxiety, the frustration, the anger. I have sent so much love and white light to those emotions. I have sent the love I cultivate in myself to you, to all beings, to the planet. I do this everyday ~ or I try to. I send gratitude to our divine creator for all of everything, I send gratitude to the angels protecting us. I tell you this to remind you and me we are all going to be ok. We are held, we are loved, we are seen. If you need a reminder I am always here.

We are all going to be ok. I know this because the feelings I am feeling are shifting. I am feeling love, gratitude, joy, ease and peace now. The other stuff is starting to settle, we are evolving and it is amazing to feel in my soul.

In so much peace, gratitude and love.

Vibration. Life emanates from sound. The vibration that is sound is a manifestation of life energy PRANA that is the basis of healing. Prana is the life-force energy coursing through your body. The very essence of our soul is vibration. We all come here with cosmic memory stored in our DNA – a clear memory of peace, love and harmony. This is the nature of our being – where our body aligns with our soul. . Vibration {energy} moves in waves the closeness of the wave is the frequency. All elements on earth have a different frequency – your frequency is unique to you. Your feelings, thoughts and actions impact your frequency. Daily stress compounded by schedules, to-dos and sometimes negative thoughts can lower your frequency causing an imbalance in your energetic body. A vibrational healing session helps attune your frequency back to homeostasis.

Meditate 22 Day 22

Beige Floral Natural Makeup Beauty Logo-4.png

Day 22 of Meditate 22 days of self discovery.
As we close our journey together revisit your intention. How has your Sadhana evolved? For me I have become more presents with my thoughts allowing myself the grace to feel whatever emotion arises. I have started to ultilize my prana and my intuition. I feel less alone, I am comforted by my breath and the knowledge that with each inhale bring prana. This life-force energy comes from the universe and from you and me. With each breath we become more unified.
• Palo Santo or Sage
• A lighter/matches
• Candles
• An offering to spirit (flowers, crystals and note listing some changes over the last 22 days)
1. Light some palo santo or sage to cleanse your space. Call on spirit to join you in ceremony through a vocal prayer. Ask for support in closing this cycle and in releasing any accumulated heavy energy from this past phase. Make your offering as you welcome spirit into your sacred space.
2. To decide how many candles you will need, take a moment to meditate on the individual challenges from this past cycle that you would like to release during this ceremony. You will need one candle for each challenge plus one extra.
3. Light all candles except for one and sit with the light surrounding you.
4. Each lit candle represents a challenge that you will be putting to rest at the end of this cycle. Assign each candle to a specified challenge.
5. Pick up one candle and allow yourself to feel the reality of this challenge. Feel it in your body, in your mind, and in your soul. How did it first come to be? How is it living within you now? What part of you needs healing in order to let it go? While holding the candle, use your intention to move this energy through your body, through your arms, through your hands, and right into the candle. Once you feel like you have moved the energy out of your body, blow out the candle.
6. Repeat this process until all candles are blown out.
7. Take the final candle that hasn’t been lit yet. Focus on the blessings of this last cycle. Feel them as deeply as you felt the challenges and move that energy through your hands and into the candle. Once you feel that the candle has been infused with your blessings, light this last candle with the intention of carrying these blessings forth into the next cycle. Sit with this candle in meditation for a few moments.
8. Close your sacred space, thank spirit for accompanying you in ceremony, and blow out the final candle.
Today’s Suggestions for RITUAL :
  • Crystal – Onyx works similarly to quartz, but instead of dispelling negative energy, it absorbs it. Onyx has the incredibly power to change this negative energy into lucky, fruitful energy that can turn bad situations into blessings. Use onyx to eliminate lingering ailments or negative thoughts and to make the most out of unhealthy situations.
  • Essential oil – Lime – The oil of zest for life – apply to back of neck and over heart
  • Soothing Touch – Gently place your hand over your heart, feeling the gentle pressure and warmth of your hand make small circles over your sternum and gently massage the intercostals.
with so much love,

OM – The Sound, the Vibration of the Universe, The Primordial Sound
GAM – The Seed Sound, or bija sound of Lord Ganesha
GANAPATAYE – Another name of Lord Ganesh, the one who overcomes of obstacles.
NAMAHA – I offer you my salutations, I bow to you.
Lord Ganesha is the elephant-headed Hindu God who is worshipped for his knowledge and wisdom. He is known as the “breaker of obstacles.”
Om gam ganapataye namaha is a prayer or appeal to Ganesha.
Ganesh is said tp reside in the root chakra – by cheating and meditating to this mantra you wake Ganesh and ask help to utilize the energy of your root to break through change and obstacles in your life. {Ganesh is my favorite deity}

Set aside 5-10 minutes to journal.
  • Take some time to journal for you. Whatever comes to mind.
AGNI SAUR DHAUTI (fire wash)
Agni saur strengthens agni (digestive fire) and the digestive organs, centers energy in the body, removes excess phlegm, purifies samana vayu (seated in the region of the navel) and balances pitta dosha. It is heating and should not be practiced by people with high blood pressure, hernias or ulcers, until these conditions have ceased.
Place the palms face down on the knees or on the floor right in front of the knees with the fingers turned slightly inward. Inhale evenly, fully and deeply. Fold the body forward to empty out the lungs fully.
When you have completely exhaled and emptied the lungs as much as possible, hold the breath out as you round your back evenly, placing your chin to your chest. Your arms should straighten enough so your head ends up higher than the height of your hips. Continue to hold the breath out and draw your belly and diaphragm back toward your spine as much as possible comfortably. Move the abdomen in and out at a moderate pace as many times as you can comfortably while holding the breath out. You are not breathing during this process. Stop moving the belly just before you think you need to inhale, relax the muscles and fold forward as close as you can to the floor. Stay there as you inhale, then exhale slowly as you bring your spine back into an upright position. This is one round. Practice three rounds.
Note: Breath retentions should never create tension or anxiety, increase in heart rate or the need to quickly suck in air. Stop two steps before you cross that line and eventually the line will begin to move and your capacity will expand.

Mediatate 22 Day 21

November 29, 2019 { Day 21}
Understanding is love. If you can’t understand, you cannot love. When you understand yourself, your suffering, you love yourself.
~ Thich Nhat Hanh

drig darshana shaktyoh ekatmata iva asmita
False-identification is confusing the nature of the seer or Self with the nature of the instrument of perception. In other words, false identification happens when we mistake the mind, body, or senses for the true Self.
When the Seer, which is consciousness (purusha) is identified with being the Seer, Egoism prevails. Body, body sensations, organs of action and sense, intelligence, the fluctuations of the mind, all have no awareness of themselves, they only REFLECT.
~Yoga Sutra 2:6

Day 20 of Meditate 22 days of self discovery.
Welcome to Day 21!! Radical Self Love! During each meditation we grow to know ourselves. We learn what our thought patterns are, what emotions arise in different circumstances, we learn where we hold them in our body and we are learning to release and heal. This journey has been beautiful. Thank you for joining me. Enjoy today’s meditation, tomorrow we reach 22 days. I have a beautiful ritual planned and hope you will try it. I am also planning a final group slow flow and meditation – DATE to be announced soon.
“When I fully love myself, I am able to fully love others.
Deciding to love myself is a wonderful agreement.
Each day, I allow my love for myself grow more and more.
I am worthy of love and I honor the joy that comes with it.
Deciding to love myself unconditionally, no matter what happens feels wonderful.
I deserve love and self respect.
My self-esteem grows along with my self-love
I love and accept everything about myself
I completely and always love myself.
Today I love myself even more than yesterday.
Truly loving myself is easy for me.
The more I love myself, the better my entire health.
I love every moment of my existence.
Every part of me that makes me who I am is encompassed with love.
I have unconditional love within me that overflows in abundance to those around me.”

  • Essential oil – Bergamot – The oil of self-acceptance – apply over your heart and on the solar plexus

with so much love,

Set aside 5-10 minutes to journal.
  • Take some time to journal for you. Whatever comes to mind.
Breathe deeply in through the nose – expanding the chest and moving the shoulders forward. Sharply expel the air through the nose using the abdominal muscles moving the abdomen backwards. On the last breath make a high pitched humming sound. Do this 30 times, then do Maha Bandha (see below) followed by Kevala Kumbhaka{short breath retention} –
Maha Bandha – The Great Lock
Maha Bandha or the Great Lock combines all the three main  Bandhas  or locks practised by yogis –  Mula BandhaUddiyana Bandha  and  Jalandhara Bandha .  Maha  in Sanskrit means ‘great’ or ‘supreme’ and  Bandha  means a lock.  Maha Bandha  means the great lock and is said to activate the prana shakti thereby aiding the awakening of  Kundalini Shakti  at the base of the spine.  Maha Bandha  is also called the tri-bandha or the triple lock as it involves all the three major locks.
